The Daytona Lady Star GTX boot is the ladies version of Daytona’s Travel Star GTX boot, one of the company’s top touring and commuting boots. It’s a highly waterproof boot made from hydrophobic leather, which is then reinforced with a Gore-Tex membrane. As with many of Daytona’s non-racing boots, you get full calf adjustment, twin zips, a galvanised steel inlay, 3M Scotchlite reflectors and so on.
But this Lady Star boot has something a little bit special for the ladies. It has extra adjustment for the calves which female riders and pillions sometimes require, so we are told. But, uniquely, this boot also has a 2.5cm hidden lift in the heel. Occasionally, ladies find they have to stand on tip-toe when the bike is stopped at, say, the traffic lights. But with these boots, you get a bit of extra reach whilst still being able to keep your entire foot on the floor. Very clever. The perfect ladies boot.
