Welcome to a very special GPL Blog post where, today, we are gripped with election fever! In fact, we’ve got so caught up in the political world, we thought we would have a stab at getting into 10 Downing Street ourselves! So, before you cast your vote for Labour, Conservative, Lib Dem, or none of the above, take a moment to read the Grand Prix Legends manifesto:

The GPL Manifesto

Any post that starts with a Dead or Alive lyric has got to be a good thing, and this one is no exception. A couple of days ago, we launched on our site a revolutionary new piece of functionality, in the shape of 360 degree, rotating product images!

360 degrees of glorious imagery!

360 degrees of glorious imagery!

If a product has this new feature enabled, it will replace the main product image, as can be seen with this product.

If you are on a category page, there will be a little ‘360 degree’ spin logo in the bottom right of the image to indicate that the product has the new technology on show.

Right, so how does it all work? Pretty simple really. When the page loads, the model will spin once, and then stop. You can then drag your mouse over the image to spin it around, or hit the auto-spin button on the far right to start it going on its own. There is also a zoom feature in the middle of the toolbar, so if you drag the slider to the right, you can get a hi-res image from all angles!

Tip! - If you’re using the zoom feature, wait a moment for the image to load for optimum clarity!

The last two buttons on the left hand side allow you to take the spin frame by frame, so you can really drink in the sumptuous detail from any angle you fancy!

Anyway, that’s enough from me, click here to have play with it for yourselves. If you have any questions, please comment below, and I’ll do my best to give you an answer.
