Bernie Ecclestone is best-known as the architect and figurehead of modern Formula One, but he has been a constant and often controversial presence in both Formula One and British public life since the 1970s. In this exhaustive and insightful biography, initially written in close collaboration with Bernie, Susan Watkins analyses in detail his rise to prominence, from his early entrepreneurial exploits as a schoolboy to his position today as a peerless businessman and multi-billionaire. All aspects of his business and racing exploits are examined, and contrasted with intimate insight into his personal life.

Business as usual at Grand Prix Legends
As I’m sure you’re all aware, most of us woke up this morning to find that large parts of the UK had taken another pummelling of snow overnight, leaving lots of people unable to get to work. Unless you work at GPL that is!
Despite the atrocious weather conditions, the GPL workforce has battled through the tundras with tennis racquets on their feet to ensure that the Grand Prix Legends machine keeps running smoothly! Our phonelines are open (though the operators’ teeth might be chattering a bit), and our warehouse team is picking and packing your orders as normal (once they’ve finished their snowball fight in the car park).
So, if you’ve been unable to get to work and are thinking of doing some online Christmas shopping, click here to visit GPL, where it’s business as usual!
